I bought the stand for my wife. She uses her iPad from her chair and has a problem with her neck. Looking down on the iPad for some period of time was painful for her. The stand has solved the problem. A great product at agreat price.

After a bad ski accident left me with a broken back (and a 12-week bed rest recovery), I was searching for a way to use my iPad while laying on my back (where I spend 22.5 hours per day). The Standzfree Floor Stand is PERFECT!! I have the base of the stand between my mattress and box spring and then curve the stand so it is holding the iPad directly over my head facing back down toward my face (it's about 16 inches above my face). The stand is not high enough to do the same from the floor.

I love reading in bed or watching movies on my iPad. I've purchased other products to help prop my iPad up, but no matter how good the product is, I still end up looking down for an extended period of time. After a few nights of this, I end up with a sore neck. This product is the answer to my problems! I can now sit in bed and look out, instead of down, to enjoy reading and watching movies. I consider this one of the most worthwhile purchases I've made in a long time.
